Honest Haul tells you what a thrift, garage-sale or flea-market find will resell for, and the most to pay for it, from one photo. Join the list and we email you the day it's live.

How it works

• Your place in line is the order you joined, minus 10 places for each friend who joins with your link. Founding Members are the first 1,000 places on the day the iPhone app launches.
• Pro for friends counts when a friend who joined with your link starts using the app and claims their own Pro: 1 friend = 1 month, 3 friends = 3 months, 5 friends = 6 months, 10 friends = 12 months. Your friend gets an extra month too.
• How Pro is delivered: after launch we email you the steps. You send us the Support ID from the bottom of Settings in the app, and we add Pro to your copy, usually within 2 business days. No payment details, nothing renews, and when the months are up the app goes back to the free plan. Claim within 60 days of our launch email.
• Limits: at most 12 months of free Pro per person from this list (Android testers who stay 14 days already get 12 months). Sign-ups from the same connection as the inviter, throwaway email addresses and duplicates do not count, and we remove fake sign-ups.

Founding Creators

Resellers who film is how most people find tools like this, so we want real videos from real scans, not ads. Tick Founding Creator when you join (or join again with the same email to add it).

• What you get: your Pro switched on first on launch day, a short filming guide (shot list and the settings to use), 3 months of Pro for your first qualifying video, then 1 month for each of up to 2 more. With your permission we share your video on our accounts with credit.
• What counts: a public TikTok, Instagram Reel or YouTube Short of you using Honest Haul on a real item you found, showing the result screen for that item, with #honesthaul. Your honest opinion, good or bad: a Pass is as welcome as a Buy. Don't claim sales, profits or prices you didn't actually get. Keep it up for at least 14 days.
• Disclosure: free Pro counts as getting something from us, so turn on the platform's branded-content / paid-partnership label or add #ad. Videos without it don't qualify.
• Sharing your video: when you send us the link, you allow Honest Haul to repost or embed that video, with credit to you, on our own social accounts and website for up to 24 months. We don't use it in paid ads or edit what you said without asking you first, and we take it down from our accounts if you ask.
• Limits: no cash or other payment, up to 12 months of free Pro per person from all our offers, accounts made just for this don't qualify.

Your email and privacy

• We store your email, what you ticked, your optional answers (including whether you want to be a Founding Creator and your public social handle), your referral code (and the code of whoever invited you), and a salted one-way hash of your IP address that we use only to stop fake sign-ups.
• We use your email only for early access: the launch email, the steps to claim your Pro, and (if you ticked Android) the Google Play test invite. No newsletter, never sold, never shared for advertising.
• One cookie keeps your private status link on this browser. No tracking or ad cookies.
• Remove yourself any time with the button on your status page, or through the support form (we act within 7 days). We delete the whole list within 90 days after the iPhone app launches and the Android app is public, keeping only what is needed to deliver Pro you have earned. Full details: Privacy Policy.

Questions

Is it free to join?

Yes. Joining costs nothing and needs no payment details. Pro from this list is added to your app for free and never turns into a paid subscription by itself.

When does the iPhone app launch?

The iPhone app is in review with Apple. We email everyone on the list the day it is live on the App Store.

What is Honest Haul Pro?

Up to 60 scans a day under our fair-use policy. The free plan has 3 scans. Pro normally costs $39.99 a year (with a 7-day free trial) or $6.99 a week in the US.

Why do you need my Support ID?

There is no account in Honest Haul. The Support ID is a random ID made by the app, and it is the only way to add Pro to your copy without asking for your name, Apple ID or payment details.

Can I be on the list for both iPhone and Android?
